JF McKenna Enjoys Successful Pig & Poultry 2026 Exhibition
Pig & Poultry 2026 once again proved to be a highly successful event for JF McKenna, with the team welcoming customers, industry partners and poultry producers from across the UK and Ireland to an impressive and busy stand at the NEC Birmingham.
Designed to reflect the company’s progressive and forward-thinking approach to poultry housing and equipment solutions, the stand placed a strong emphasis on innovation, integration and practical on-farm performance. Visitors arriving at the stand were immediately introduced to a wide range of modern technologies aimed at helping producers improve efficiency, sustainability and bird welfare across their operations.
The stand attracted strong footfall throughout both days of the exhibition, with many visitors commenting positively on the professional layout, interactive displays and welcoming atmosphere created by the JF McKenna team. The open-plan design encouraged conversation and engagement, while dedicated meeting areas allowed the team to discuss upcoming projects, future developments and tailored solutions for farms of all sizes.
This year’s exhibition stand featured a broad range of technologies and equipment from key industry partners including Fancom, HATO Agricultural Lighting, Chore-Time, Lubing, Reventa, Agro Supply, INNO+, Collinson and Winterwarm. Through a combination of live product demonstrations and integrated technology displays, visitors were able to see how modern poultry systems can work seamlessly together to optimise environmental control, feeding efficiency and overall flock performance.
A major talking point throughout the event was the continued development of intelligent control systems through Fancom technologies, alongside increasing interest in automation and integrated environmental management within modern poultry production. Energy-efficient lighting systems from HATO also generated significant attention, particularly among producers focused on reducing operational costs while maintaining high production standards.
Several discussions throughout the show centred around rising energy costs and the growing importance of sustainable poultry production. Visitors showed particular interest in modern ventilation management, heat recovery systems and climate solutions designed to improve efficiency while supporting long-term environmental targets.
The exhibition also provided an excellent opportunity for the JF McKenna team to strengthen relationships with existing customers while building new connections across the wider agricultural industry. Team members spent time advising visitors on practical solutions for both new-build poultry houses and refurbishment projects, with discussions covering ventilation, lighting, feeding systems and integrated climate control technologies.
Many visitors were especially interested in how multiple technologies can now be connected into one streamlined management platform, allowing producers to monitor and control various aspects of their operations more efficiently. Conversations around labour-saving automation, future-proofing poultry houses and improving overall farm performance remained consistent themes throughout the two-day event.
The company also highlighted the importance of dependable technical support and aftersales service, both of which continue to play a vital role in ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and system reliability. The overall quality of discussions throughout the exhibition was extremely positive, with several conversations already progressing towards future installations and upcoming projects.
Speaking after the event, Brian Moxon, Commercial Sales Director at JF McKenna, thanked everyone who visited the stand during the show:
“Pig & Poultry continues to be one of the most important events in the industry calendar and it was fantastic to reconnect with customers, suppliers and new faces once again. We appreciate everyone who took the time to visit the stand and look forward to continuing those conversations over the coming weeks.”
JF McKenna would also like to thank all supplier partners involved in helping bring the stand and product displays together for the event, whose continued support and collaboration contributed greatly to the success of the exhibition.
