Placed on the tunnel hoops before cladding with polythene, this white foam tape acts as a cushioned insulator between the metal and the film to prevent the build up of heat. Removing these hot spots prolongs the life of your film, and many polythene manufacturers now specify the use of this tape to validate their guarantee.

Over time, the thin plastic film covering the foam on anti-hot spot tape can wear away – making it ineffective. An alternative to replacing the anti-hot spot tape (a messy, time-consuming job!) this high tack clear adhesive tape can be used to cover the existing tape – effectively replacing the old film covering.

This clear, UV stabilised tape is perfect for repairing tears and holes in polythene tunnel covers. The waterproof adhesive also makes it highly resistant to weathering to ensure a long-lasting, professional repair.

These general purpose tapes are perfect for repairing inner covers on mushroom tunnels. The high tack adhesive is waterproof, but without UV stabilisation they should only be used indoors.
