When building any polytunnel, the site must be correctly prepared: clear and level. A gentle slope along the length can be easily accommodated, but a slope across the width will cause difficulties and should be removed prior to building. Likewise, undulations in levels should be removed. An uneven site will adversely affect the quality of the finished structure, so it is important to get this first step right to ensure a good quality build.

Please note that we do not supply concrete for the tunnel foundations. This is always the responsibility of the client. A standard foundation mix of 20N/mm2 is recommended.
Most kits are supplied with an easy to follow instruction manual for the client to build the tunnel themselves.
We also offer a construction service for those clients without the time or man-power available. Our teams of approved contractors will erect your structure quickly and efficiently to the highest standards.
Weather conditions can severely affect progress and winter daylight hours reduce the work time available, therefore we would ask clients to try and arrange your build time for the better conditions of Spring, Summer and Autumn.
